Oregon State's wrestling team has been mind-bogglingly inconsistent this year. Wins over five ranked teams on one hand; losses to unranked Utah Valley, Arizona State and Cal State-Bakersfield on the other.
As the season enters the all-important stretch run, though, the Beavers put together two good-looking wins at home over the President's Day weekend. They shut out Air Force 36-0 on Sunday after handling #7-ranked Oklahoma 22-12 Thursday night.
"This is when you want to be wrestling your best," Oregon State coach Jim Zalesky said, "when you get toward the end of the year.
