Andrew Moore held Arizona to five hits and a run in a complete-game effort and Logan Ice's fourth-inning RBI proved to be the game winner as Oregon State opened a three-game series against Arizona with a 3-1 victory Friday night at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field.
Arizona came into the series as the Pac-12 Conference's top hitting team with a .324 team batting average. Moore, for the most part, was dominant in his first complete game of the season and fourth of his career. His lone blemish on the night came on a run-scoring single by Riley Moore in the fourth.
