"Today we did a good job of closing," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "I was proud of our execution down the stretch, and we played great defense in the second half. This is a tough road trip, and to get this one on the road is a great thing. Overall this was a great team victory."
Senior Marie Gulich had another outstanding evening for the Beavers, shooting 8-for-12 from the floor to finish with 18 points and six blocks.
