CORVALLIS – The Oregon State football team fell to Stanford 27-24 Saturday evening in a hard-fought game at Reser Stadium.
The teams went back-and-forth for the entire contest, and the Beavers had the ball in Stanford territory with less than 30 seconds remaining, but a late fumble secured the victory for the Cardinal.
Chance Nolan threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns in his second career start. The redshirt sophomore added another 50 yards on the ground.
Tre'Shaun Harrison finished with five receptions for 91 yards, while Tyjon Lindsay had three catches for 62 yards and two touchdowns.
