Stanford, Calif. – Destiny Slocum scored 26 points, but the No. 15 Oregon State women's basketball team fell to No. 4 Stanford 63-60 Friday evening at Maples Pavilion in Stanford, Calif.
The Beavers overcame a 14-point fourth quarter deficit to get within a possession late on, and had a chance to tie the game on a 3-pointer on the closing possession, but could not convert.
"This was a great game," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "I was pleased with our effort ad our focus tonight. This team has really been through a lot in the last month and a half or so, and I am impressed by the way they keep coming.
