NEW ORLEANS – Following an impressive showing at the historically competitive Nuttycombe Invitational the Oregon State cross country team has attained its highest ever regional ranking as announced by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Monday morning.
"Being ranked sixth in the competitive West Region is a nice testament to the work this women's group has and is continuing to put in," said head coach Louie Quintana. "This is the highest Oregon State has ever been ranked in the West Region in program history, but we have a lot of goals that we want to accomplish the rest of the season and are excited to continue the process.
