This week both Oregon State Soccer Teams took on nationally ranked opponents. The Men’s Team took on No. 17 UC Davis at home, while the Women’s Team travelled to Lubbock to take on No. 25 Texas Tech. Here’s everything that happened the past week in Beaver Soccer.
On Friday, September 7th, the Men’s Team hosted CSU Bakersfield. Bakersfield grabbed an early lead, with Francisco Gomez scoring in the sixth minute.
That lead didn’t last long, as in the eighth minute Gloire Amandla picked up a blocked shot from Sofiane Djeffal and put in the back of the net to tie the game 1-1.
