CORVALLIS – The No. 17 ranked Oregon State women's basketball team clamped down defensively to hand UC Davis its second loss of the season Wednesday evening, 61-47 at Gill Coliseum.
"I thought tonight was awesome – it was the perfect game for us as we prepare for Pac-12 play," said Oregon State head coach Scott Rueck. "We knew we were going to have to make plays to win this game, and I thought we made plays all night. UC Davis was well prepared, and this game took everything we have. We battled, and I was proud of the way we executed.
