Oregon State University running back Storm Barrs-Woods has been named to the third annual Earl Campbell Tyler Rose Award watch list, presented to the top college player on offense from the state of Texas. It’s the second awards watch list for Barrs-Woods, after being included on the Maxwell Award (top college player) list in July.
The native of Pflugerville, Texas who graduates in December with a bachelor’s degree in human development and family sciences has been on all three watch lists for the award, named after legendary Hall of Fame running back Earl Campbell. Barrs-Woods enters the 2015 season with a team-high 31 career starts, 2,183 rushing yards and 932 receiving yards.
