Eugene, Ore. – Melissa Ausman won the discus and hammer throws and placed second in the shot put on Thursday night to lead Oregon State competitors at the Titan Twilight Meet at Lane Community College.
Ausman threw 158 feet, six inches in the discus; 153-5 in the hammer, and 40-7 in the shot put. She finished one spot ahead of teammate Rachel Picknell, who competed unattached because she is redshirting, in all three events.
Two all-time top-10 marks were bettered. Jasmin McKenzie won the long jump in 18-5 and moved into a tie with Vickie Padgett for eighth place in OSU’s career top-10.
