CORVALLIS -- As Oregon State's lone senior, it often falls to Marie Gulich to figure out any issues with her team. It was during one road trip this season that she identified a peculiar one: The Beavers were too quiet.
She didn't have to think long to know why. NCAA rules limit the amount of travel by transfers while they sit out for a year, which meant point guard Destiny Slocum hadn't made the trip.
The shortest player on OSU's roster at 5-foot-7, Slocum owns the largest personality. Maybe it's a point guard thing.
