There's already plenty of buzz surrounding No. 9 Oregon State's Monday matchup against No. 8 Arizona State, as the contest has Pac-12 title stakes and will be broadcast to a national audience as part of ESPN2's Big Monday coverage.
But first, the Beavers must take on Arizona. The Wildcats have lost five of their last six games, including getting swept by Arizona State in their rivalry series last weekend. Their two Pac-12 victories have come against California and Colorado.
OSU coach Scott Rueck said he expects the Wildcats to bring a heavy dose of defensive pressure -- something the Beavers struggled with at times while All-Pac-12 point guard Sydney Wiese was out with a broken right hand -- and to use their athleticism on the perimeter to create scoring opportunities.
