Non-conference games in September tried their best to muddy those expectations. But it returned to focus during three punishing hours Saturday afternoon in Reser Stadium.
Arizona could be on its way to fulfilling its perceived potential, while Oregon State, well, achieving respectability is a mountain of work ahead for the Beavers after the Wildcats scored a decisive 35-14 win.
