CORVALLIS, Ore. — Freshman and senior paced the Oregon State women's swimming team Friday night against Washington State at the Osborn Aquatic Center. The Beavers fell to the Cougars, 170-87.
Anderson finished with tops times both her primary events. The freshman took first place in the 100-yard backstroke with a time of 56.92 and finished second in the 200-yard with a touch of 2:04.41.
Young took second in all three of her events, including finishing just three-tenths behind the leader in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.44. The senior also finished second in the 100-yard freestyle (53.
