After limited effort to sign an offensive lineman in the class of 2016, the Oregon State Beavers are expected to make a push at the position in the 2017 recruiting cycle.
On Saturday, that effort led to hosting West Linn offensive lineman Alex Forsyth, a 6-foot-4, 300-pound mauler who projects at offensive guard at the next level, on an unofficial visit.
The trip not only impressed Forsyth, but the Beavers made it clear the interest was mutual, extending a scholarship offer:
Beyond blessed to say I have received an offer from Oregon State University!
