With the Christmas food having weighed on me, literally and figuratively, and spending the week in Portland, what not a better way to spend those awkward days between the holidays at the Les Schwab Invitational in Hillsboro. The buzz of the tournament was none other than Sierra Canyon High School of Chatsworth, California, whom compete in the CIF Southern Section and feature the sons of Scottie Pippen and Kenyon Martin. AKA your favorite player’s favorite high school team. During the duration of the week, Pippen Sr., Martin Sr., along with Zach Collins of the Blazers, Draymond Green, and Jimmy Butler were in attendance to check out the all star Southern California basketball team.
