Arizona Wildcats athletic director Greg Byrne will take over the same position for the Alabama Crimson Tide, according to reports on Monday.
Byrne, 45, is one of the most highly regard and sought-after athletic directors in the country. He was pursued by the University of Florida last year, but decided to stay at Arizona.
