After not playing a single minute in the first contest of the Dallas Mavericks 2019 NBA Summer League slate on Friday night, former Oregon State guard Stephen Thompson Jr. took hold of his much-needed chance late in the second half of Saturday’s game.
In a blowout win for the Mavs over the Houston Rockets, Thompson Jr. made good of his eight minutes of court-time, pouring in a quick 8 points on a 3-5 performance from the field, which included connecting on two of his three attempts from behind the arc.
