The Oregon State coaching staff are in the hunt for a future signal caller for their football program. While some may say that the 2019 class of quarterbacks in the country is a down year, there is still plenty of talent out there that Jonathan Smith and his staff are working to make a positive impact on.
A few weeks ago, I had come out with a list of quarterbacks that I thought the staff should be pushing for or consider offering. In the last month a few of those names have come off the board — Cale Millen (Oregon), Hank Bachmeier (Boise State), and Jacob Conover (BYU) all stung for Beaver fans for various reasons because of different ties they had with Corvallis and how they were seen as ideal fits for this new offense.
