2017 WNBA draft live updates: Kelsey Plum, 3 South Carolina players among top prospects

Former Washington Huskies star and NCAA all-time scoring leader Kelsey Plum is a virtual lock to be the No. 1 overall pick when the 2017 WNBA draft begins at 4 p.m. PT Thursday, April 13, in New York City.

The San Antonio Stars hold that No. 1 pick. After Plum, three players from national champion South Carolina -- center Alaina Coates and early-entry guards Kaela Davis and Allisha Gray -- could also be first-round picks.

Former Oregon State star Sydney Wiese also is projected as a first-round pick, probably in the top 10.
