Former Oregon golfer Norman Xiong will make his first start on the PGA Tour as a professional at A Military Tribute at The Greenbrier beginning Thursday at The Old White TPC in West Virginia.

The Oregon career wins leader earned an exemption into the event by winning the Fred Haskins Award as the national collegiate player of the year. Xiong also took home the Jack Nicklaus Award after setting a program record with six wins this past season, shattering the old record of three.

Xiong is making his second career appearance on the PGA Tour, having earned an amateur exemption into the Farmers Insurance Open in January.
