World record-holder Aries Merritt and 2016 Olympic gold medalist Omar McLeod will tangle in the 110 meters at this year's Prefontaine Classic.
Merritt, 31, just missed making the U.S. Olympic team last year while coming back from a kidney transplant.
McLoed, 23, had a strong year in 2016, taking gold both in the World Indoor Championships at the Oregon Convention Center, and in the Rio Olympics.
Meet organizers still have an open lane for the race. They hope to fill it with reigning U.S. champion Devon Allen, who is attempting to complete his return from major knee surgery.
