Women's Hoops Picked Eighth in Pac-12 Preseason in Poll

EUGENE, Ore. - The Oregon women's basketball team has been picked eighth in the Pac-12 preseason coaches poll, the league announced today.

The Ducks went 13-17 overall last year in head coach Kelly Graves' first season, including a 6-12 mark in Pac-12 play. Oregon finished in a tie for ninth in the league's regular season standings before falling to Washington State in the first round of the Pac-12 Tournament.

The Ducks return three starters from last season's team, including third team All-American forward Jillian Alleyne, plus guards Lexi Petersen and Lexi Bando. In addition to five returning letterwinners, the Ducks welcome six newcomers and two returning redshirts.
