Oregon Ducks women football fans celebrated their love of the sport Saturday at the annual Women’s Clinic at the Hatfield Dowlin Complex in Eugene.
Some women celebrated their 15th year at the event, while others attended for the first time at the urging of other women who had taken part in previous years.
The football program fed the women lunch in the same cafeteria where the players eat every day. The coaches and their wives mingled with the women during lunch, as participants also signed up for silent auction memorabilia.
After lunch, the coaches explained the basics of football in the theatre room, showing game-film examples of play formations.
