While it is not the NCAA Tournament, the Oregon Ducks Women’s Basketball team is showing they have something to play for. The team has yet to lose a game in the WNIT and beat UTEP on the road in a hostile environment on Monday night. Oregon was down 18 points in the first half, pulled to within 6 at halftime and completed the victory to move on.
Five Oregon Ducks scored in double figures led by Lexi Petersen with 16 points, none bigger than the three pointer she hit from the corner in the final minute of the game to extend the Oregon lead and shot down a run from UTEP.
