EUGENE, Ore. – Coming off a seven-point performance that helped first-year head coach Chelsea Gamble earn her first career win at Oregon, senior Shannon Williams was named the first Pac-12 Offensive Player of the Week of the season on Monday.
The weekly honor from the Pac-12 is the second of Williams' career. She helped Oregon open with a win in its season opener for the sixth consecutive season with two goals and five assists in a 13-6 victory over Mercer at home.
Williams had five of her seven points in the second half, including four (1 goal & 3 assists) during a game-changing 6-0 run by Oregon to open the second half.
