EUGENE -- Whether Justin Herbert will be available to play for Oregon against UCLA is undetermined, but so too is who will start for the Bruins at Autzen Stadium.
Wilton Speight, who transferred from Michigan and won the starting job before the season, made his second start of the season in UCLA's 41-10 loss to Utah last week. Speight, who injured his back in the season opener, started in place of freshman Dorian Thompson-Robinson, who is coping with a shoulder injury.
UCLA coach Chip Kelly would not say whether Thompson-Robinson, who is completing 60.2 percent of his passes for 1,176 yards with six touchdowns and three interceptions, would return to the starting role if healthy.
