It's no secret the success of the Oregon Ducks largely lies on the shoulders of junior quarterback Justin Herbert.
Oregon is a different team with Herbert behind center, evident in the Ducks' point differential on offense last season — they averaged 37.1 points fewer — when the Eugene native was sidelined for five games with a collarbone injury.
As one of the top returning quarterbacks in the nation, Herbert's blend of size (6-6, 240), athleticism, arm strength and accuracy has him projected as a high-first round pick by NFL draft experts, should he elect to turn pro after his junior season.
