EUGENE -- Oregon may know its starting quarterback against UCLA by Wednesday morning.
Ducks coach Mario Cristobal said the concussion protocol for quarterback Justin Herbert and wide receiver Dillon Mitchell runs through Wednesday morning and a decision is expected to be made before practice.
With Herbert absent from practice Tuesday, backup quarterbacks Braxton Burmeister and Tyler Shough split first-team reps .
During the early periods of practice, Burmeister was the first to work with the starters and Shough worked with the second team, but offensive coordinator Marcus Arroyo said they "went 50-50" during the Ducks' indoor practice.
