A couple things ...
-- Western Oregon mid-distance runner David Ribich is one of the best kept secrets in collegiate track, but maybe not for much longer.
DyeStat's Doug Binder tells Ribich's story, which began in tiny Enterprise in Oregon's northeast corner, continued at NCAA Division II WOU, and last year in the 1,500-meter final at the USA Track & Field Outdoor Championships.
Binder includes a great anecdote about an exchange between Ribich and 2016 Olympic champion Matthew Centrowitz on the start line of the USATF meet in Sacramento.
I highly recommend this story.
