It feels a bit weird to say this in mid-September (thanks, conference realignment), but it’s Oregon State week! Whether you call it the Civil War (which is my personal favorite), the Platypus Cup, or simply just “I Hate OSU Week”, the game is upon us!
For the first 10 or so years of my life, this was the only football game I would watch every year. So much malice between fanbases, to the point where the teachers at my schools would start trash-talking each other throughout the week leading up to game day. It’s hands-down one of my favorite matchups every single season (the other being UW, can’t put into words how much I hate those dogs).
