Oregon Volleyball rolled into their first Big Ten weekend with a head of steam and promptly took care of business against new conference foes Illinois and Indiana.
On Friday the Ducks earned a sweep against the Illini. Though the opening set saw a 14-14 tie, Oregon pulled ahead with four consecutive points and never looked back, with Mimi Colyer garnering five kills during the first set.
After falling behind in the second set, Illinois came storming back to ensnare the lead 20-19. It was again tied at 22 all before the Ducks pulled away. Altogether they scored 10 of the final 13 points in the second set.
