Oregon women’s tennis snapped a six-match skid and earned its first Big Ten win Friday, edging Indiana 4-3 in a thriller at the Student Tennis Center. The match came down to a third-set tiebreaker on court six, where Juliet Santitto clinched the victory after trailing early. Oregon secured the doubles point and picked up singles wins from Jagare, Patsy Daughters, and Santitto.
Two days later, the Ducks found themselves in another match-deciding tiebreaker but fell just short in a 4-3 loss to No. 63 Purdue. Oregon again won the doubles point and got singles wins from Daughters and Santitto, but the Boilermakers sealed the match with a narrow win on court two.
