It may have been in two different styles, but the important thing Wednesday evening was that Men’s and Women’s Basketball each finished with a win.

The Oregon women pulled away from what had been a tight game in the first half to claim an 85-70 win in their return to Eugene after a rough outing over in Hawaii.

With the score tied at 34 all entering the half, the Ducks picked apart the Cougs by outscoring them in both the third and fourth quarters to run away with the game.

Peyton Scott found her groove with 23 points and six 3-pointers on the night, while Oregon won both the rebounding and turnover battles to improve to 7-2 on the season as they prepare for #6 USC.
