Despite a fairly strong defensive effort, with Oregon forcing 22 turnovers on the night and holding the Trojans to just over 40% shooting, they just couldn’t overcome a dominant USC second quarter in which the Trojans outscored them 28-6. USC’s strong rebounding advantage and efficient shooting proved too much for Oregon to handle, while the Ducks just couldn’t seem to get the three ball to fall all night, shooting an abysmal 3-20 from deep for the game.
