The Oregon Ducks defeated Utah 41-20 in front of a sold-out crowd at Autzen Stadium on Saturday.
Freshman quarterback Braxton Burmeister completed 9 of 12 pass attempts for 47 yards and a touchdown in his first win as a starter.
Running back Royce Freeman rushed for 139 yards on 20 carries while Tony-Brooks James added 106 yards on six carries and one touchdown for the Ducks (5-4, 2-4 Pac-12 Conference).
"I thought Braxton did a good job, it was great for him to be at home and get his first victory as a starting quarterback" says Oregon coach Willie Taggart.
