Watch: Quarterbacks Taylor Alie, Braxton Burmeister compete for starting job

The Oregon Ducks defeated California 45-24 at Autzen Stadium on Saturday but left the game with several injuries.

Quarterback Justin Herbert fractured his collarbone on his left, non-throwing side late in the first quarter and is expected to miss the next several weeks. Inside linebacker Kaulana Apelu will not return this season after suffering a fractured ankle.

Running back Royce Freeman, wide receiver Dillon Mitchell, quarterback Taylor Alie, wide receiver Charles Nelson, tight end Jacob Breeland and linebacker AJ Hotchkins are still considered "day to day".

The Ducks returned to the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex on Wednesday and practiced in full pads.
