EUGENE -- Jalen Jelks had a game to remember against Arizona State, even if the the outcome was forgettable.
A junior defensive end from Phoenix, Jelks had five tackles for loss, including three sacks, playing in front of family and friends in a 37-35 loss at Arizona State that was UO's first this season following a 3-0 start.
As we wrote Sunday:
Those five tackles for loss tie Jelks for second-most in a single game this season in the Football Bowl Subdivision.
Oddly, the only better performance this season also came at the expense of Arizona State, when New Mexico State's Malik Demby recorded 5 1/2 TFLs against the Sun Devils on Aug.
