After striking out with the Seahawks and Redskins in rookie mini-camp tryouts, former Oregon quarterback Vernon Adams appears to be shifting his focus north of the border.
According to a report from TSN, Adams is in talks with the B.C. Lions. If he joins, he will likely compete for the third-string job with the Lions.
Adams compared himself to quarterbacks like Warren Moon and Doug Flutie, both who became NFL legends after stints in the CFL. Adams had no problem voicing his frustration that teams are passing on him due to his size, something that scouts have criticized throughout Adams' entire time trying to reach the NFL.
