EUGENE -- Vernon Adams won't officially be a Duck until this summer, but it seems that the Eastern Washington transfer is already beginning to fit in with some of his new teammates.
Adams, a quarterback who announced he will transfer from the Eagles to the Ducks this summer, was hosted earlier this spring for an unofficial visit by Oregon's Dwayne Stanford, Byron Marshall and Bralon Addison. It was an important visit for Adams to bond with a few future teammates, even if competition like Jeff Lockie, Morgan Mahalak and Travis Jonsen are getting a headstart with spring workouts.
