Vernon Adams earns rookie mini-camp tryout with Washington Redskins

First, Vernon Adams wasn't selected in the NFL Draft. Then, nobody picked him up as an undrated free agent. Finally, the Seahawks hosted Adams for a tryout at their rookie mini-camp, but decided to pass on him, going with former TCU quarterback Trevone Boykin instead.

Now, Adams will try out for the Washington Redskins, who are hosting their rookie training camp this weekend. 33 players, including Adams, will try out to try and land a spot on Washington's roster. Adams is the only Pac-12 player on the list of invites sent out by Washington.

Unlike the Seahawks, who entered the draft with Russell Wilson as their only quarterback on the roster, the Redskins have three after drafting Indiana quarterback Nate Sudfeld in the third round.
