The U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association selected University of Oregon mid-distance runner Raevyn Rogers Division I women's athlete of the week.
The two-time NCAA 800-meter champion was part of the UO distance medley relay that set the collegiate record of 10 minutes, 48.77 seconds at last weekend's Columbia East-West Challenge in New York.
Later, in the same meet, Rogers clocked a winning time of 2:01.75 in the open 800.
The USTFCCCA athletes of the week were announced Tuesday.
The USTFCCCA also honored Western Oregon's David Ribich as NCAA Division II men's athlete of the week.
