More than 50 current, former or future Ducks will be at Hayward Field this week for the USA Track & Field national championship meets, and for each of those UO athletes the meet presents a different opportunity.
For Sam Crouser, who recently won his second straight NCAA Outdoor title in the javelin, the USATF meet is a springboard into the professional ranks. For hammer thrower Greg Skipper, the meet is merely a fun coda to his junior season at Oregon. For Jenna Prandini, no less than a chance to compete in the World Championships is at hand.
