The quartet of Oregon Ducks women's basketball players representing the U.S. at the 3x3 World Cup have played their way into another elite eight.
Nearly three months after the Ducks advanced to the round of eight in the NCAA tournament, UO guards Sabrina Ionescu and Erin Boley and forwards Ruthy Hebard and Oti Gildon are now in position to claim a FIBA world title for the U.S.
The U.S. team plays Italy in the quarterfinals and with a win will face the winner of China and Hungary in the semifinals. Waiting on the other side of the bracket are the Czech Republic and Russia, along with Spain and France.
