The Oregon Ducks leave Eugene Wednesday for the NCAA Division I Indoor Track & Field Championships in College Station, Texas, and they are packing realistic expectations for the trip.
The meet begins Friday, and the Ducks won't be favored to win a men's or women's team title.
Oregon has ruled indoors at the national level in recent years. The UO men have won three of the last four NCAA indoor titles. The UO women have won seven of the last eight.
But a perfect storm of circumstances have made this a building season for both the men and women.
