EUGENE, Ore. – Oregon is ranked No. 14 in the preseason poll released by Collegiate Baseball today. The Ducks received 463 points and were the fourth highest-ranked Pac-12 team.
Oregon returns seven starting position players off the 2015 team, which finished 38-25 and advanced to the NCAA Regionals, and another starter off the 2014 squad who missed last season with an injury. The Ducks head into 2016 with a starting rotation that features three experienced left-handed pitchers – Cole Irvin, Matt Krook and David Peterson – who have combined to make 54 starts over the last three seasons.
