Edward Cheserek, who won 17 national championships for the Oregon Ducks, has turned professional and will be represented by Total Sports US.
Total Sports US is a Tennessee-based firm that represents a number of U.S. track and field athletes, among them two-time Olympian Nick Symmonds, Ben Blankenship, Hassan Mead and Sally Kipyego of Oregon Track Club Elite, and Matt Hughes and Shelby Houlihan of the Bowerman Track Club.
The company announced Cheserek's signing Wednesday on Twitter.
Cheserek's senior outdoor season came to abrupt end this season when a lower back injury prevented him from seeking to qualify last week for the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
