SAN ANTONIO, Texas – The Ducks shaved off three strokes from their score yesterday and kept themselves in the hunt for an NCAA Championship berth after round two at Briggs Ranch GC with an even-par 288. For the second-straight day freshman Kelsey Ulep played like a seasoned veteran and led Oregon with a 3-under 69. Ulep is tied for fourth place at 6-under par (138, 69-69).
After two rounds, Oregon is 3-over par at 579. With Texas in sixth place a 5-under, UO will attempt to jump the Longhorns along with Texas Tech (1-under) and Arizona State (2-over) in seventh and eighth place, respectively.
