STANFORD, Calif. – Sophomore Nikki Udria hit her first career grand slam while Janelle Lindvall tallied four RBIs as well and the No. 1 ranked Oregon softball team took down Stanford, 12-8, on Sunday at Smith Family Stadium in the second game of a three-game series.
The Ducks improved to 37-5 (15-2 Pac-12) with their ninth straight win over Stanford. The Cardinal fell to 16-28 (1-13).
Scoring Summary: Lindvall put the Ducks on top early with a two-run double in the top of the first. The Cardinal answered back in the bottom of the inning as starter Geri Ann Glasco issued four walks to start the game.
