Tyler Anderson has thrown well in his last two outings.
In both, he threw eight scoreless innings. On the 4th of July, on the road, it was Anderson who provided the fireworks from the mound, not allowing a San Francisco Giant to score. Chris Ianatta powered Colorado with a run, it was all they would need in a 1-0 win with Anderson dominant on the mound for the second straight game.
The game was a milestone in the history for Colorado. It was just the tenth 1-0 shutout. The last time the team completed the feat was in 2010, eight seasons ago.
